| Karate is a martial art characterized by kicks, punches, blocks, forms, self-defense, and fighting. Mountain Karate Academy specializes in Tae Kwon Do Chung Do Kwan. This particular form of karate features high and fast spinning kicks. The goal of martial arts is to learn self-defense, discipline, responsibility, fitness, and appreciation for the art. The instructors at Mountain Karate Academy are certified black belt instructors with the Eastern U.S.A. International Martial Arts Association. |



| School Policy: Any student who uses karate training learned at Mountain Karate Academy aggressively towards another person, (other than for self defense), will be given a verbal warning. If there is a second offense, the student will be expelled. This includes threats, bullying, and any form of intimidation in which the student threatens to use or uses karate skills against another person. |
